Free Seminar Offered for Those Starting a Business
A free seminar for those starting a business is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday Sept. 13 at the Moore Public Library, Rooms A & B, in Moore, Okla. Participants will gain insights into the reasons why so many new businesses fail, as well as reviewing the most-asked questions by new business owners through discussion topics with business professionals.
Topics to be addressed include: Where to go for business and financial help, how to conduct research, how to develop a business plan, the emotional costs of entrepreneurship, and questions that should be asked prior to starting a business.
The seminar is offered through a partnership between Moore Norman Technology Center, the Pioneer Library System, Counselors to America’s Small Business (SCORE), Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma, Inc. (REI), and the South Oklahoma City, Norman and Moore Chambers of Commerce.
