Students Explore MNTC Classes At Tech Fair 2008
Moore Norman Technology Center again thinks “outside the book” by presenting Long-Term class elective options to area high school students during Tech Fairs 2008.
The “Future Now!” themed Tech Fairs are a series of on-site visits to MNTC’s partner high schools in the Moore and Norman school districts. Tech Fairs 2008 are scheduled for onsite high school visits on these dates: Moore High School, Jan. 8-9; Westmoore High School, Jan. 17-18; Norman High School, Jan. 30-31, and Norman North High School, Feb. 11-12.
MNTC Tech Fairs are designed to introduce career concepts and elective hour options for their junior-year class schedules to high school sophomores. Students learn that enrolling in a MNTC program while in high school is tuition-free and can develop them into marketable entry-level employees. In MNTC classes, students gain industry knowledge and skills, along with resume preparation, interviewing skills and business and industry ethics. They also learn of leadership opportunities available to them through student-run organizations and honor societies.
MNTC’s four career clusters are Business Information Technology, Engineering & Technical, Health Careers and Human Services. During Tech Fairs, students interested in attending Moore Norman may sign up to attend a tour of three specific classes the MNTC Franklin Road Campus during a regular school day following the Tech Fairs.

MNTC’s Franklin Road Campus is located at the corner of 12th Ave. NW and Franklin Rd., between the communities of Moore and Norman.
