Entrepreneurial Capabilities
- Have adequate technical education or business experience to exploit the technology or new business idea
- Exhibit integrity, dedication and commitment
Job Creation
- The company should create jobs that contribute to Oklahoma's economic development
Growth Potential
- The product or service should have the potential to reach significant revenue levels, graduate from the incubator in two or three years, and continue growing.
Written Business Plan
- The business plan should include market analysis, financial projections, funding requirements, background on the management team, and related information.

Moore Norman Technology Center's Business Development Center is an innovative facility designed to grow your business.
- One of a few business incubators in the State
- A non-profit facility designed to encourage new and start-up business innovation
- Stimulates continual growth of emerging companies through education and training
- We therefore promote job creation for the local and state economy
- Located at MNTC’s South Penn Campus at SW 134th and S. Penn Ave. in south Oklahoma City
- Accommodates office and work space for resident companies
- Companies have a myriad of resources available to them as clients
BDC Mission:
The mission of Moore Norman's BDC is to create an environment for the development and delivery of a comprehensive set of value-added programs and services that enable the future growth of our clients.
Benefits of the BDC to Business Owners
The BDC is a certified incubator by the Department of Commerce. Because of this designation, tenants locating on site ae exempt from State taxes on income earned for up to a 10-year period from the date of occupancy.
We're Members of the Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network
Our BDC Coordinator is a Business Assistance Coordinator through the Oklahoma Business Assistance Network, and the facility is one of a small group of Bid Assistance Center sites in the state.
OBAN coordinators can assist with the following:
- Help business with Procurement Assistance such as marketing strategy, locating contracting opportunities, vendor registration in the Central Contracting Registration, Pro-Net, HUBZone and women-owned businesses
- The OBAN can also help businesses locate agency contacts, commercial item descriptions, Wide Area Work Flow, and pursue ISO certification
